Built around the customer handoff

New Concept Moving and Storage keeps the North Salt Lake move connected from the first walkthrough through the final room, not just from curb to curb.

A good move starts before anything is lifted. New Concept Moving organizes the route through both properties, identifies priority pieces, and builds the loading order around the rooms waiting at the destination.

  • Access planned before arrival

For New Concept Moving and Storage, parking, stairs, elevators, long carries, and doorways belong in the North Salt Lake move scope.

  • Protection begins indoors

Before the first piece crosses a doorway, New Concept Moving and Storage considers furniture, floors, walls, and other finished surfaces.

  • One plan follows the move

New Concept Moving and Storage keeps labels, placement notes, and contact details tied together from the origin to the destination.

About the approach

What sets the process apart

Care is built into every step.

Across North Salt Lake, New Concept Moving and Storage keeps three principles visible from the first walkthrough through final placement.

Plan access before moving day.

Before New Concept Moving and Storage sets the schedule, truck position, carrying routes, stairs, elevators, and property rules are recorded.

Wrap first. Move second.

New Concept Moving and Storage reviews furniture protection and the carrying path before large pieces leave the North Salt Lake property.

Finish by room, not by truck.

New Concept Moving and Storage closes the move by placing priority furniture and checking the destination room by room.

“The best moving plan is specific enough for the customer and every person handling the move to follow.”

A move is a chain of handoffs

The details should stay connected.

The origin walkthrough, packing notes, loading sequence, route, and destination placement should operate as one plan-not as separate conversations.

What customers should expect

A move experience with visible standards.

The written scope keeps these service standards visible before move day.

“I should know what is included, what affects the schedule, and who to contact before move day.”

Clear scope standard

“My furniture and the route through both properties should be considered before loading starts.”

Protection standard

“The move should finish with priority rooms usable and open questions clearly documented.”

Placement standard

North Salt Lake planning

Clear decisions before boxes start moving.

A reliable plan connects building access, household priorities, and the setup you need at the destination.

What should condo or HOA residents verify?

Review moving hours, parking, elevator use, protective covering rules, and required notices. Provide the instructions before the crew and truck are scheduled.

How should I label a multi-level home?

Use room names plus the correct floor, such as lower-level office or upstairs bedroom. Clear labels reduce backtracking during placement.

Can unpacking focus on only a few rooms?

Yes. Identify priority spaces such as the kitchen, bedrooms, or home office, and define whether the work includes carton removal or just item placement.

What happens when access changes unexpectedly?

Call as soon as you learn about a closed entrance, delayed key handoff, or unavailable elevator. The plan may need a different arrival time or carrying route.

How are special pieces included in the scope?

List pianos, safes, oversized furniture, artwork, and delicate equipment separately. Measurements, access, and handling needs should be reviewed before move day.

Moving experiences with New Concept Moving and Storage

Go straight to the company. I went through a broker company that made life so much more frustrating. Luckily these guys were nice, helpful and quick. No matter how frustrated during pickup or drop-off I would get due to misinformation from the broker they were polite and worked at every turn with me to get me squared away and moved. Both the movers and the supervisor were awesome regardless of the issues that arose and did everything they could to find a solution.

New Concept Moving did a phenomenal job moving me and my wife. The lead mover Dave, was such a pro and so respectful with all our belongings, they were on time, did the job efficiently and in a timely manner. The cost was less than I thought it would be as well. Jeff in the office was very helpful in arranging the movers, answering all my many questions, and putting my mind at ease. I would recommend them to anyone looking to make their move both seamless and stress free! Thanks guys!

The guys came on time however did half of the job, I paid extra money to have some of my junk to be taken away unfortunately they showed it under the stairs instead of taken it and now it might cost me to have it taken away and might cause me to get into problems with the landlord, I didn’t notice until after the fact..I’m so not happy about that
