Questions worth resolving

Packing & Unpacking FAQs.

What belongs in the packing & unpacking scope in North Salt Lake?

While packing & unpacking is being planned, the proposed scope should spell out Room and contents labeling, Materials matched to item type, and Fragile-item documentation. Review the list before treating the date as reserved. Confirm the decision before the crew schedule is set.

Which access details matter for property access for packing & unpacking in North Salt Lake?

As the packing & unpacking date approaches, point out rooms with limited work space, items that cannot be boxed, fragile collections, and anything needing custom protection. Use the written scope as the reference if details change.

How should I plan destination placement for packing & unpacking in North Salt Lake?

For packing & unpacking, set unpacking priorities by room and decide whether the work ends at opened cartons, shelf placement, or debris pickup. Resolve this while there is time to adjust people or equipment.

When should I reserve the packing & unpacking date in North Salt Lake?

In the packing & unpacking scope, schedule the packing conversation after the inventory is clear and before cartons or labor are committed. A larger home may need more than one packing day. Write down any exception instead of relying on a moving-day conversation.

Which changes to the packing & unpacking plan in North Salt Lake need to be reported?

During the packing & unpacking walkthrough, update the room count, packing level, fragile-item list, or unpacking request before materials and labor are finalized. Flag uncertainty during the walkthrough.

Which personal items to keep accessible during packing & unpacking in North Salt Lake should travel with me?

At the final packing & unpacking review, set aside medication, identification, jewelry, important papers, electronics you need immediately, and anything that should not be packed. Confirm the decision before the crew schedule is set.

Moving experiences with New Concept Moving and Storage

Go straight to the company. I went through a broker company that made life so much more frustrating. Luckily these guys were nice, helpful and quick. No matter how frustrated during pickup or drop-off I would get due to misinformation from the broker they were polite and worked at every turn with me to get me squared away and moved. Both the movers and the supervisor were awesome regardless of the issues that arose and did everything they could to find a solution.

New Concept Moving did a phenomenal job moving me and my wife. The lead mover Dave, was such a pro and so respectful with all our belongings, they were on time, did the job efficiently and in a timely manner. The cost was less than I thought it would be as well. Jeff in the office was very helpful in arranging the movers, answering all my many questions, and putting my mind at ease. I would recommend them to anyone looking to make their move both seamless and stress free! Thanks guys!

The guys came on time however did half of the job, I paid extra money to have some of my junk to be taken away unfortunately they showed it under the stairs instead of taken it and now it might cost me to have it taken away and might cause me to get into problems with the landlord, I didn’t notice until after the fact..I’m so not happy about that
